"Banglar Taj Mahal" at Sonargaon, Narayanganj. This replica project of the famous “Tajmahal", undertaken by a local businessman at a cost of Tk.400 crore, was opened on 11 December 2008 in an incomplete state to attract Eid holiday crowd with entry fee of Tk.50/- per head. Visitors were unhappy with the cheap materials used and its disproportionate size. They demanded entry money back (pic: the Daily Star). Also see,
